Plane landed after the 7th try

Two pilots from indian Jet Airways was suspended after a event the 17th of Aurgust, where a boeing 737-800 with 142 passengers and eight Crew on the plane landed after the 7th try.

The Boeing 737 plane with the flight code  9W555 departed from Doha, Qatar with its heading to Kochi in the south-western India, when the pilots agreed that the wheather in Kochi was to bad to land in.

the pilots tried to land three times in Kochi but had to cancel it in every of the three tries.

After this the pilots emitted a emergency call because of insufficient fuel. The plane then headed to Trivandrum located about 175 km (108 miles) south of Kochi.

Here it did taka four tries to get the plane safe on the ground again, following Aviation Herald.

Only 250 kilos of fuel back

The civil aviation authorities have subsequently begun a study underway to clarify the sequence of events. The plane landed with only 270 kg fuel back which is low under the minimum of 1.500 kg.

Jet Airways is India’s second largest airline and it is a part of the Etihad Airways Partner concern, the Abu Dhabi based airline owns 24 percent of the stocks in Jet Airways.
