Peach Aviation has signed a firm contract with Airbus for three Airbus A320s. this is the first bought A320 from Airbus. Peach Aviation currently leases 14 A320 with 3 more to be delivered on lease. The a320 will space 180 passengers and will be powered by CFM International engines.
- Vágar based Atlantic Airways signed a firm order of one new Airbus A320. This is the first Airbus A320 that Atlantic Airways ordered. The new costumer of the A320 will get it delivered in the end of 2016. The A320 is bought because of the growing passenger market from Copenhagen to the Faroes. The Airbus A320 seats 168 passengers in Atlantic Airwayss configuration.

The airline has applied chinese authoritie for permission to open a route between Copenhagen and Hangzhou from the 3. of September and between Beijing and Copenhagen from the 6. of september in competition with Scandinavian Airlines.
the big city of Hangzhou has around 6,5 millions residents and is located 200 kilometres (125 miles) south of Shanghai. the city does only have 2 routes to europe today with KLM to Amsterdam and Hainan Airlines to Paris Charles de Gaulle.
